Senior Director - Tax

Yoshiko Okamura is a tax professional with well over 20 years of experience.   Prior to joining Kakimoto & Nagashima LLP in July 2011, she worked over 21 years at a Big 4 including almost 10 years as a Tax Director.  She has extensive “hands-on” experience in serving U.S. subsidiaries and branches of Japanese global conglomerates.   Her knowledge in U.S. rules covers a broad range in both domestic and international tax matters as well as tax accruals for financial statements.  She is known for pro-active and practical approaches to minimizing tax risks, resolving tax exposures, and implementing tax saving plans that meet the true needs of the business.  She believes a good service provider is the one who listens to clients, timely delivers practical solutions, and explains the logic behind the solutions to the client in a manner catering to the client’s needs.

Yoshiko earned her B.A. degree at University of San Francisco and M.S. degree in Taxation at Golden Gate University.
