Senior Manager - Tax

Edward has over 20 years of experience in corporate taxation in both public accounting and private industry.  Prior to joining Kakimoto & Nagashima Edward spent seven years in the tax department of large international public accounting firms rising to the level of Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen.  In addition to a broad background in general taxation, Edward specializes in state and local taxation and spent seven years as the Director of State and Local Taxes at a Fortune 1000 company where he had overall responsibility of all state and local tax issues including planning, compliance and audit defense.

Edward received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from California State University at Los Angeles.  He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from USC School of Law.

In his time away from the office Edward most enjoys spending time with family and friends.
